Born in Chicago, Il and raised in Syracuse, NY, Travis Reed is a piano and organ musician influenced by the gospel and blues styles predominantly, with complementing jazz, R&B and country undertones. With a keen ear for tone and pitch, able to follow along without written script, he is able to catch the key and the progressions and fall right in. Such an ear would be welcomed by Chicago Blues artist Nick Moss (2010-2012) and Joe Louis Walker (2016-2017) with stops through local neighborhoods (Portland, ME to Portland, OR, Harvelle's Santa Monica to Bradenton Blues Club, Florida) and across the pond to Eastern Europe (Notodden, Norway south to Hauterives, France). Travis plays with several bands and in church in the Syracuse area and is also a piano teacher.
