Longtime friends and bandmates Glen Pickert and Len Senecal reunite along with percussionist John Walker to form the Gaffers, an acoustic trio with more than a century's worth of experience between them. Alexandria Bay native Pickert is a well-known solo performer in the 1000 Islands area whose smooth voice and outstanding guitar talents have been pleasing audiences for decades. He and bassist Senecal began playing together as teenagers, and have joined forces in several bands, most notably The Bad Husbands Club and the late 1970s band, Rainbow. John Walker is also a well-known figure in the north country music scene, having performed with a number of bands including Another Fine Mess and Drag'nfly.

Together they look to provide a variety of styles in an eclectic blend of songs spanning their long musical careers both together and apart.
